Edit the templates (the .IVT file). IEView supports several variables. One of them is %name% which is replaced with either your or your buddys nickname (depends on the message type - incoming/outgoing).

Colors are in the stylesheet.

Well, it's always been possible to see your MSN avatar. You simply needed to point to "MirandaMSNavatar.png". But it's easier now, since you just have to use the new variable %avatarOut%.

Keep in mind though that %avatarOut% doesn't work with MSN Protocol 0.4.0.1 + IEView 1.0.1.10... the filename of your own avatar has been changed to "MSN avatar.png" in the new version of the protocol.

oooh, so that's what message grouping does.

I had to turn it off because it wasn't showing the messages I got.

If you dont see the messages when message grouping is enabled most of the time is because you have an old tabsrmm/ieview or the template you are using doesnt support it but every template made by russell or me has message grouping support.

making satin png transparent would mean redoing the entire thing..it'd be a pretty big waste of time. i'm currently designing a template that me and karma will be doing..
