OK, after everyones mentions... i loaded windowblinds again.... but now my Explorer buttons will not change to ones selected in windowblinds... it seems as if StyleXP has taken over :| Any advice?
MSStyles or Window Blinds?
Window Blinds/// much more customizable...
* Granted, seperate progs can deliver kinda comparable results (like rollup with winroll and toolbars can be done with Y'z toolbar), but I wouldn't want to load tons of apps just too get the same both aestethic and functional result you can get with WB alone. To me that's just a matter of common sense.
Uh...no, it's not. You assume that everything else (like COST) is constant. It's not, of course, because WB costs $20. Therefore, it is NOT common sense - it is an individual choice.
im talking about skins people have actually made for firefox, so far... only 1 full skin... and thats Safarifox.. no other full skin WB themes that i know of.... maybe someone should get to porting some of hills stuff?
Port hills stuff? To what/where? Every single one of hills' skins corresponds with a WB theme of the same style, but you can use them with any theme you'd like anyway. I still don't understand what you're talking about.
However, there are fewer msstyles out there that match any of hills skins.
For Mac themeing, definately Windowblinds, one of only 2 apps I have not been able to find better free alternatives to.
Plus Windowblinds saves me having to use more 3rd party apps, for instance -
It skins toolbar buttons so I don't need Y'z toolbar,
It lets me minimize all apps to system tray so I don't have to use another app for that,
It lets me roll up/down the windows, which I got so used to doing from using Linux again, no need for an extra app.
I just think WB gives more complete skinning than MS Styles.
WB for me
Accurate OSX themes
Smaller footprint than MS's own skinning engine
Fast and stable
Customizable and tweakable to the nth degree
Try it - once you do, you'll never go back!

Anyone had this problem before? should I uninstall StyleXP?
Have you checked the Windowblinds config to make sure all the skinning options are checked?
I've been using WB forever, ever since it was either WB or eFX for skinning. The features are just so worth it. I can't think of any reason not to use WB if you can afford it.

uninstall stylexp and disable the native theme service, about the explorer buttons no changing problem, i would like to know a work around too, i just logoff and logon.
Windowblinds. Faster and far more flexible.
Nice that it changes toolbar and avi's without further shell32 changes or 3rd party apps.
If you have trouble with the glyphs on skins btw (especially when going from a left skin to a right skin), unload and reload windowblinds with the skin you want selected.

(Did have StyleXP installed... but now its uninstalled..)
