[Preview] GT4: Concept Visual Style

Ok, I would like people's opinions on this concept for a visual style... and don't say it's Aero, just because Aero uses black and glass effects, you haven't seen the window style yet.

If Windowblinds v5 ?? (I'm guessing) has full transparency support I will make this a reality. I am going to use the AveShell addon for AveDesk 1.2 when it's release to make the start bar and desklets in this style, but unless Windowblinds has alpha support in the window border the rest wont be finished.

Things to note, the Start button will probably be the same style as the clock, and will be made with Winflag and Apple varients.

Note: The Earliest you will currently see this is Longhorn. It is impossible to make with current version of Windowblinds or VS

not sure about your theme. it's pretty good, but it will be confused with tiggz's gt2 and gt3 themes in wincustomize.com

overall, i'm looking forward to this theme of yours. looks cool.

I decided to see what happens with different colour schemes... I've only tried Luna so far (I know ugly colour scheme) but I'm actually fairly happy with just what I could do with this theme in terms of varients. Although I still think the Aeroesque Black/Glass version looks much better than the Blue/Green Luna.

If you have any suggestions for colour themes then post a reply like this:

Main Colour: Blue (Start Bar/Window Borders basically glass bits)

Secondary Colour: Green (Black Bits)

Additional Suggestions: Info on a theme to look at for colour inspiration or just minor notes about how the colours should be put together and I'll post a preview in your coulour scheme.

Font on start button looks weird..off the place. Maybe change it to Lucida or replace with some nifty graphics? Other than that it looks promising.

Actually, the startbar could be created using Samurize or AveDesk and the AveShell addon for each but at the moment Windowblinds only supports transparency in the Start Menu, if Stardock add more Transparency I'll make this theme real, until that point it's only a concept design (If all else fails I'll make a Longhorn VS in 2007 out of this).

Updated the preview to include the first Window style... I think the borders are huge too, I'll do a 1px version (i.e. the black edge to the notepad like thing) as well if this ever gets made for real.
