I'll leave the emoticons... they're cute like that.

Logical of course ;)

When I was mounting my second HD, I thought that it will be the better way to organize the things.

There is element of truth in it... :)

#250631

Main Drive - Dartanion

Backup Drive - Gigaplenty

#250635

All my computers are named after their model names: iMac G4 800, iMac G3 500, PB G3 500, PM 9600/350, etc.

Hard drive names are as follows: OS 9, Jaguar, Panther, iMac HD, Amie, Blazer, Chelsea, Cadie, Chanel, Dodger, Jasmine, Hunter, Indy, and Son of Indy.

#250647

My computer names don't translate well and HD names are less fantatsic:

FAT32-QUANTUM-4GB (was: a drive, now a partition, has seen 95/98/2000 and a lot of travel)

NTFS-MAIN

EXT2-6GB

NTFS-EXT

But the last network I set up:

The workgroup was named SolarSystem,

The Linux file & proxy server with the fat HDs was 'Jupiter'

'His' was Callisto (a moon of the actual Jupiter)

'Hers' was Hydra (didnt find another female sounding moon)

#250680

Indy, and Son of Indy.

I'm gonna have to use that method of naming in future - :D
