thanks for your reply... looking foward to you new release...

just a few bugs:

1-today the calendar swiched to may 1st 2005 the first 3 digits 1,2,and 3

flew off the calendar and are now somewhere on the desktop, also happened

on my laptop too...

2- the stickie note, cannot place text on it...

3-the stock ticker widget does not load...

4-the yellow pages url does not load...

this theme looks great on my desktop... i also got it on my laptop fixing the Y - X

let me tell you it's a lot of work to move the wiget bar, wiget's, toolbar, text, ect...

but it's fun learning a new thing... i know it's all hard work and i appreciate it...

UserX: glad you're enjoying the experience. To answer your concerns, I'm aware of the calendar problem and it will be addressed in the next release. 2. If you could describe the trouble you're having with the stickies a little more I can help you better. You should be able to just click on the text of the stickie and start typing (your cursor should appear as a hand on mouse over). 3-4. The stock ticker and yellow pages are in developement. I didn't have the pngs for the stock ticker to include that at the time of release.

There should be a new release in the next couple of weeks.

RE: the sticky note, I cannot place the text cursor on it at all. I click on the

sticky it does load to the desktop, no text cursor, no text. Tried to type, nothing.

But it does have a nice fade out effect, so does the clock, way cool... thanks!

i'm having trouble when i click "download to desktop" from the link given. i just get a bunch of text. am i supposed to be getting that?

dmexplosive: try right-clicking on "download to desktop" and selecting "save link as..." from the menu. that should solve that problem.

is it possible to ajust the dashboard for 1600 * 1000 because in the preferences it's impossible ...if not how to move the dashboard on the sreen

The only possible way at the moment to adjust the dashboard is to bring up the Object Browser (right-click tray icon, list objects...) Scroll down until you see the objects 'dashboard_menu1 & 2' and manually enter 1000 in the Y column.

This will bring them on screen for you but they will still be the height and width of 800x600 resolution. With some adjusting of sizes and placement for the icons and menu, you will be able to have it fit your screen.

If you meant 1600x1200, I will be making that resolution available as soon as I can as well as some new things (Dashboard panel redesign and more built-in themes). If you have any ideas as to themes you would like to see for the Dashboard and overall, please let me know.

Again, make sure you have the latest version downloaded and if you enjoy the theme, please donate. It will help keep this project going and guarentee it sees resolution independence.

The version available from Deviantart.com should be the Public Beta Release version 4.6.9c To see if this is the version you have please check the start-up dialog or the 'About this Mac' dialog.

This is a pretty good little program, my only problem is that the iTunes widget doesn't work at all. When I have iTunes playing, I can't use the iTunes widget as a remote control. Other than that desktopX has worked great and I can use it with Konfabulator at the same time

rogueassassin: the reason the iTunes widget isn't working is because it's actually a remote for Windows Media Player. Also you will need to download the WMPuice plug-in for it to work.

As I've been getting quite a few emails concerning users forgetting to download the plug-in, I will be switching to an ActiveX control for controlling WMP. This should be a better solution as it means one less program running in the background.
