[release] Sinapse v0.1

wow,, who wouldve thought that using n extremely beta program under an extremely beta OS would not work?! wow..

and the correct grammar would be "it doesn't work"

#305942

Can someone post a link to Sinapse, because non of the posted links in this thread doesn't work?

#435537

Yeah, same.. I can't download it, does anyone have a valid link?

#436441

Hey, where is a good link? This project IS still available right?

#440487

good news, maybe?? - T/F

"However, with the introduction of Vista, I got really interested in DWM and what it could do for Sinapse.

Anyway, I am starting to wonder that I should probably get back to work on Sinapse ;)"

Could someone with a working (on XP SP2) copy of Sinapse email me a zip or post a link or something? Apparently the people at Mactastica are falling behind on their maintenance, and all the other mirror links lead to 404s :( and I've been wanting to try this prog out :)

Thnx much :)

PS - Email = MSN Handle ;)

Edit...:

Wow...hehe, I didn't realize how old this project was XD I'd still like a copy, though :D

#453991

incredible... i double-click it, and it gives me one of those "needs to close, sorry for any inconvenience" messages.

thanks anyway NC.

#454058

:( Same for me. The ModName in the report is kernel32.dll :o Yikes

#454111

Ye same :(

#454122

Hey, I don't debug the software, I just mirror it :D.

Keep in mind the code is around two years old, and there are probably dependencies that are no longer there.

Some of you may also want to try iEx, Smallwindows, and whatever else is new on the market.

Hehe, true. Two years is...what...almost a generation in computer terms? Or is that just OSs?

Anyway, I thought iEx turned into Expire turned into Sinapse? A few weeks ago I searched high and low, Ask and Google, and all I could find in terms of an iEx download was the settings program that insanisoft wrote up. Could you point me in the right direction for iEx?

(...on second thought, after I wrote this I decided to check out the insanisoft thing again, and the settings download includes iEx 0.2a...is there a newer one available? Thnx :))

I'm currently using WinExpose, which is the best program I've come across so far (that works, AND that I was able to download :P), except for what it's missing :( (app-specific expose and "clear desktop").

Thanx,

EC

@nightcrawler:

Could you post some links to iEx and Smallwindows please?

#454430

eternicode, you may be right about iEx. I know Expire turned into Sinapse, but I never made the connection between iEx and Expire.

Hope this helps,

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was iEx -> Expire. Going off of a short-term memory of reading something somewhere XD

Anyway, thanks for the links, but it seems that WinExpose is the one for me atm :) now to see if I can get my hands on the source code...not likely, though :(...
