@meat - Yeh that winplosion app looks pretty neat..
- although reading all these reviews of sinapse is really frustrating considering it crashes on my laptop...hopefully someone will work out what the problem is. ![]()

This is looking really good already. This is the first expose type app that works properly on my dual monitor setup (a project I've been working on requires I have one monitor at 1280x1024 and the second at 1024x768, most expose apps do not like this at all). The only issue i'm having is that it runs a bit slow, but I'm not ready to say that it's your program that is at fault. The machine is a 2.4ghz p4 with a GeForce FX5200 (which is pretty damn slow) and is used for development so god knows what programs and special drivers I have running.
Still, this program is absolutely fantastic, the best app of its kind i've seen by far, keep up the fantastic work, you are my hero.
Hi
I can't run the program, it gives me a fatal error and when I click on the button to get more detailed info nothing happens.
I have installed .net 2 and also have removed .net 1.1
I have an ATI 32 MB radeon graphic card which is set to 1280x1024
any help ?
Thanks
yeah same here. and it was working for me before is whats weird
I tested it on another computer, the same problem. it crashes and I can not see the crash log
It' an expose clone. And, when I try to run the computer, I get a fatal error....

Siwu great program so smooth & I'm really looking forward to future versions.
I ran into a litle trouble the first time so what I did was uninstall .NET1.1 reboot, install .NET 2.0 beta reboot and then run Sinapse and it worked a charm.
Hi
This is what I get as error message:
can anybody give me a little help here ? Does Sinapse really need more than 32MB graphics card ?

hrg27, I think your problem is that you're not running Windows XP+? I'm not sure of the heirarchy of the Windows, but I thought NT before after XP.
^^
@registered and hrg: no, that's not hrg's problem.
Try ending some of your processes, and decrease your resolution. Then, try running the program again.
-NC
Like what kind of processes? I only have AIM, MSN, Apache, and FTP server, a VNC server, and Firefox running. I don't see how any of those could affect Direct3D code. Is it because I have a 4mb video card?
Dang. No, I've never had any other trouble with other apps related to my video card. What is the minumum requirement for Sinapse v0.1?
Got a "Sinapse -- Fatal error" with the below output; thanks in advance for your ideas.

nightcrawler1089 and registered99,
I lowered the resolution and it worked, then I stopped sinapse, highered the resolution to the previous one and it worked again !!! but the animations are not soomth, as a matter of fact the whole thing is really slow
How low? Mine's normally at 1280x1024, but then I lowered it to 1024x768, that seems quite low enough, right?
EDIT: I lowered the resolution to 640x480 and recieved the same error.
try reducing the color depth to 16bit or lower and then if you succedd come back to 32-bit
what is you graphics card
I did the color depth on my home machin and it is running amazingly, I should say that I have a pretty powerfull graphics card at home
registered99 is using a Intel intergrated graphics judging from the error log he posted which at a guess is not an ideal solution because of its low amount of video memory plus it could just be Intel's graphics/Direct-X drivers are just not good enough to run the program.
Just installed this on my computer. This is absolutely amazing! Works Perfectly!!
Yes, I am using Intel Integrated graphics. Darn. And it has low video memory (4).

as mentioned a few posts above by registered99
seems to me that you do not have the font loaded installed and or active, if you are using a font manager...
wow... just found this ![]()
its amazing!!
a few bugs, but it's build 0.1 so they are to be expected... stop complaining so much... ![]()

Did anyone try to run Sinapse with the integrated Intel graphics card?
I tried, with .Net 2.0 beta and DirectX 9.0c installed and verified working, but it keeps crashing on my Dell.
