P.S: I chose that particular spelling of "Chanukah" because the alliteration makes me look cool.

Happy Hannukah ![]()
doesnt it start on the 9th?
Depends where you live. Plus, with time differences, it's kind of hard to post conclusively when it starts for someone. In the Hebrew Calendar, it's 25 Kislev, so...![]()

Just for further info: The Hebrew calendar is totally seperate from the Gregorian calendar which is based on the solar year, while the Hebrew calendar is moslty lunar...each month begining with a new moon if memory serves me right. So Channukah starts at a different date each year due to adding of days in the Hewbrew calendar to make up for the lunar cycles etc.
For those wishing a Hebrew calendar on their desktops Calendar Maven is a nice shareware that will tell you the major holidays/month/days of the Hebrew Calendar (upadated for each equivalent year in the gregorian calendar) Check it out
Happy Chanukah to all the Jewish guys here ![]()
^ Good thing, too. That's not cool.

Chanukah
c) Chanuka

Thank you guys for not biting the bait this very smart guy threw at you. Continue as if nothing had happened, please.
