it`s a slowdown caused by TBE.
sometimes it does that, sometimes doesn`t
there`s a "no lag" version on hills' site but i`m not sure if it`s 1.0 compatible
has anyone had problems with firefox?
I've been using it since version 0.8 but every new release since then when istalled makes the browser window jump continuously so I end up going back to 0.8...any ideas?

i`ve seen that bug on mozillazine.org but never had it so i didn`t pay much attention.

It's not a bug with Firefox itself. I remember seeing something about this on Mozillazine. It's either a theme/extension problem that messes up Firefox or a problem with your profile.
Perhaps try backing up your cookies, passwords, bookmarks, etc and then creating a brand new profile and installing from scratch up-to-date versions of all the themes and extensions you use.
