localhost, any idea on what the problem may be when I switch songs? Itunes jumps from 5-6mb to about 12-13mb and stays there. It happens whichever way I switch songs (avetunes, media keyboard, systray icon, and whenever a song ends)
I've tried quite a few options to fix it, but it's still not working right.

but as larger your library is, so greater the memory usage before hiding it...
i have 40mb at startup, and when minimized to tray it becomes about 4mb...then after switching the songs it goes up to 15...but it's still a significant cxhange from 40...
anyway, the memory usage of iTunes with Multi-Plugin should never be more than 1.5mb more than without it...

Ahh i see. Yeah, it's pretty much the same, maybe a little more, but the media keys are a big thing for me.

I'm trying to get something that will allow me to alter the visualizer on iTunes to keep the track info and the album cover up for the entire song, and possibly make them bigger so I can see them when I'm not sitting at my computer. Can Multi-Plugin do this (I installed it and haven't been able to figure it out yet)? Can something else?
enlarging it won't be easy at all...
but you can make some script that presses "I" every couple of seconds to re-display the album art and the song info.
after i finish all the features i want to ihnclude in the next version, maybe i'll add this too...

On an unrelated note. I was wondering if it is possible to reshack iTunes to change the tray icon. Has anyone tried this? Does it work? I don't want to **** up my iTunes. I'm perfectly happy with 4.5 that I'm using.

Well if you have Objectbar you can do that easily. If not, I'm fairly sure it's possible.

I tried to reshack iTunes 4.7 with reshacker but it doesn't work u have to use other aplication (I've been using for it eXeScope)!! I know there is a thread on aquasoft. Ohh here you go!! I even searched it for you: http://www.aqua-soft.org/board/showthread....ray+icon+itunes

U have to create a folder named MPlugin in:
C:Dokumente und EinstellungentaifunAnwendungsdatenApple ComputeriTunesiTunes Plug-ins
and then paste there mplugin.dll it should look like this:
C:Dokumente und EinstellungentaifunAnwendungsdatenApple ComputeriTunesiTunes Plug-insMPlugin
And that's it... BTW I made the same mistake first time

sadly i m not able to install this neat lil thingy.
I also placed the mplugin.dll where it s meant to be
but I still get an [setup failed] error mssg.
I did close iTunes & runnin on german XP & reinstalled
so if anyone woul give me a hand...

localhost > is this only for MAC.. I can download the exe file. Because I am not a member of lycos, but then I get redirected to a türkish site I think and I don't anything of it. Is there an other place I can get it from?
