This album really needs no explination on why it's my choice of favourite album. Every song exhilerates a piece of my body. May it be my heart, my fists, my brain or my booty.

Nine Inch Nails "Still" [bonus Disc from AATCHB]
A lot of NIN mentioned in the thread, except for this. Hearing "The Becoming" in a 'deconstructed' form was amazing. The instrumentals featured on here are heart wrenchingly beautiful. "And All That Could Have Been" may very well be the most depressing piece of work Trent's ever made. And lastly, my theme song aka "Leaving Hope" will make you well up with tears. It is simply breathtaking.
Nas "Illmatic"
Quite possibly my favorite hip-hop album of all time. It's been quite a difficult task for Nas to live up to the sheer rawness of this disc. From first to last, his intricate story telling and clever rhymeplay is mesmerizing. Backed by beats from DJ Premier, Large Professor, and the one and only Pete Rock - their names alone may not impress some of you but, their work on this album should do the trick. I can't come up with enough superlatives for this cd.
2pac "All Eyez On Me"
Now I know it's kind of hard to choose this when you've got "Me Against The World" which was far superior in certain aspects. However, considering this was a 2-Disc set, I had to choose this. For years this was the only CD I could listen to on a consistant basis. With the passing of Notorious B.I.G and 2pac in 96 & 97, albums like this and the aformentioned "Life After Death" will be constant reminders of a time when commercial hip-hop/rap was at its best.

Ever since i have heard this album, i listen to it atleast once a week. I love it because u can just push play. Plus seeing them play this album live was better than any drug ive ever done.
2. Tupac - Makaveli
Tupac IMO has alot of good albums. I consider him more of a poet than a musician. The lyrics in this album seem so striking to me...this is one rap album i couldnt live w/o.
3. Led Zep - IV
Black Dog, Rock and Roll, Battle of Evermore, Stariway, Going to Cali, When the Levee Breaks. This should probably be #1 but, i love tool. this is one of the greatest albums ever made.
