Weirdest Things While Under Anesthesia

Hey,

to pass time i'd like to ask people what the funniest thing theyve done while under anesthesia.

me, i woke up and noticed i was done getting teeth pulled so i prayed to the ground and put my hands in the shape of an L up against my head. then i said i missed my teethand tried to walk out.

and on monday i have to get more pulled, unfortunately im a constant worrier so i heard the stories of people waking up and being paralyzed during the procedure. that has made me even more scared. oh well

no, but i've had a concussion(must be similar) from launching a 40 footer right onto a girl who was where she shouldn't be (50% her fault, 50% mine).

I blacked out for a few seconds (i guess) and when i came to she was talking to me and i told her "wait a second, just wait a second (i meant relax untill i come around)... everything your saying is going in one ear and out the other and i can understand you until the point it goes out the other ear".

Big mistake - she started freaking out!

Anyways, she ended up having a freaking huge bruise on her thigh, but she was lucky cause i saw her when i was in the air and contorted enough to hit the snow with most of my body before i hit her.

i've never been knocked out from anesthesia, but at the dentist's i always go in for the laughing gas. i guess i don't have a funny story per se, except always getting these disturbed looks from the gas-lady when i request she lower the O2 mix on the Nitrous.

I hate the dentist. Right now I am in a never endless cycle. My dentist say that I should get braces. My orthodontist says it's not that severe. My dentist then says I should get braces. Then my orthodontist says it's not nessicary. And then my dentist says...

I have never been under anesthesia. I kinda want to. I want to know what it feels like to be knocked out. Or even fall asleep at will instead of laying in bed for 2 hours before I fall asleep.

I had an anesthesiologist tell me to count backwards from 10 after pumping the anasthestic into me... So I did... And nothing happened. The doc was like "Oh... Ok then, well I dunno, do whatever I guess..." They pumped me full of more drugs, and as I was just happily singing to myself I was like "la la la la hey wow whats going on with the room... it's going all floaty...." zonk. I was out. Apparently then when I came around I was chatting away to all the nurses and stuff... Except I cant remember any of it hehe...

Anasthetic is funny stuff lol.

well i had the dentist pull out about 9 teeth in me.. that was because my old dentist didn't want to pull out my baby teeth.. i wore removerable braces for like 6 months...

my top to k9's are still slightley out of place :6

And you should-- I've had one retainer set, one top-only retainer, braces, and I've had so many teeth pulled that my mom started bribing me to remove them myself so we didn't have to go to the dentist.

I've had to have about 15 teeth pulled at once.

When i was 8, I was running inside my house (this is why your parents tell you not to do this) and I tripped over a rug in my bathroom and bit the damn toilet seat. I was spiting out teeth chunks for an hour then my parents decided to take me to the hospital. 'Til this day, I still have pain in my jaws.

I have a thing of jamming my fingers. I think I was 10, a friend and I were playing catch and he threw it up in the air. For some reason my right hand was right underneath my left (I throw right handed) and I missed it (I think I lost it in the sun) and it landed directly on my thumb. It didn't break, but it hurt like a *****.

And then a couple years later, I was playing basketball and someone did a quick pass to me, someone jerked me and my left index finger went head on with the basketball. I can't bend my index finger all the way now.

And another time I was playing bastketball, someone elbowed me right in the jaw (I had to say that one to connect it to dentistry).

But I never been to the hospital.

I gone through general three times (cirurgies)... they are all the same... i sleep a dreamless sleep... than i wakeup... first i only hear voices... all faded, distante voices... my body entirely numb... then someone cries out "HE GONNA FALL"... (for me, at least, is sounded more like "h-h-h-E-E-e-ee-eee ggggoooo--o-o-onnaAAaaaA F-aaaa-llllllllllll!"... and the thing keep going. At this time i don´t now if i´m´really waked... and i don´t know orientation... don´t know where is up or down... just my body floating in the ether... than my vision cames from a blur and i start waking up for real.

On the third cirurgy the locked my on the bed with somekind of belt.
