Description

This is a little widget (specially for Duckie ) that makes a puzzle of an image and put it on your desktop. You can have hours of joy to find the solution. Once you are done, simply drop another image on it to start a new game with a new image!

i believe thats how dashboard works. it takes your album art and turns it into a puzle like this.

Works great for me, even with single click.

Edit:

Ok, after making a background for this and loading my own picture into it [not that yours isn't great, just that I want a little bit more personal images in mine ;-)] I think I have a couple suggestions. [no rush of course just thoughts]

1: Yes, loading iTunes album art would be great since the images are already square and all, but I think I would like it to be able to read from a directory of images. Something like an option in one of the tabs to specify the directory, or simply by reading a directory like AveDesk/Desklets/Puzzle/Puzzles might be neat. Then we can just drop all of our own square images into the directory and it will load from that automatically.

2: Have to admit, not 100% sure how it works, but, let's say we get tired of the puzzle we are 'working' on, perhaps an option to load the next image from that directory mentioned above? Maybe this and the 1st idea could just be incorporated into another tab in the desklet properties?

3: The blank space, the actual removed tile ... Is it possible to make that transparent so we can see the background of our skin?

Manyk, thanks for the suggestions

I removed the blank tile and made it transparent. simply redownload (see first post).

To change images, you can simply drag an image from explorer to it and drop it on the widget.

For the albumart: so the widget need to change the puzzle everytime a new song is played? :blink:

Oh man, this just gets better and better ... the WHOLE AveDesk thing.

Awesome job Andreas, works great ... I think I actually like the dragging image bit better than loading stuff from a directory .... nice and simple.

1. I think it stay and changes only if you finished the game.

2. you can already play with your album art - Just drop the album-art from the iTunes-Window on the widget!!
