Not to be a nag, but I don't believe you're allowed to release the Konfabulator icons for download. Arlo Rose, the creator of Konfabulator, requested that they not be used for anything or than his program. Nice widget, btw.

Personally, I use Jyri's Icons ... I like them a bit better than than the Stardock or Konfab one's.

They're a bit big for the mini weather config, but if you change the scaling from.5 to .25 it's all good.

Me too. It seems that AveDesk is not even trying to connect to the net. (I removed it from my firewall's whitelist and it's not asking to be back on.)

Maybe if you download the whole thing it will work better? I dont know..

But here! Download ALL FONTS!

If that doesnt work I guess you need to use other fonts.. But it works fine for me..

And to the people that are having trouble.. Sorry.. lol..

Please try again and redownload..

All you gotta change is the "weather zip code" and "city name".. (and maybe the icon directory.. But that's it..)

better, but for some reason when I restart AveDesk it resets to 'MS Sans'

Probably not your fault, but does anyone else know why?

Maybe because all of you are using UNCOMMON names for your city

Check Weather.com for your EXACT city name or just use a name close to your area.

For me, i use Philadelphia because my city isnt in the database at weather.com.

And are you using JUST your city names? How about trying something like 'Orlando, FL' instead of just 'Orlando'?

also, don't use your zip code...won't work

Finally, make sure you turn OFF firewalls...firewalls are gay. as if anyone wants what is on your computers.

either that or learn how to USE your firewall.

it's not Hyral's issue if you dont.

thx Duckie. I have no Software-Firewall and am sitting behind a router dor some days. I'm pretty sure about the cityname (Munich, Germany), but since it seems to work for most of you, i'll try it again, when i'm back home next week - without a router.

and i didn't thought of a bug in this widget, since i never before succeded to run a weatherconfig (no matter if with Samurize or ObjectDock)

Nah, I did all the necessary changes, took the CORRECT ID from weather.com for my city, did even try to deactivate my firewall, still no goes.

If I enter the URL in my browser I get the correct XML feed.

Judge's Weather docklet works fine btw.

I tried New York, just to be sure lol. Anyways it seems to be a SysStats problem, as the original SysStats weather widget doesn't work either.

Its working great for me, would be great if we can configure more than one day, waiting for an update

The city doenst seem very important to me thought, because my city in weather.com is Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal, and i have in the name VNGaia(put that name to fit in png), i click in the png and it goes straight to my city weather page.

PS - Dont forget to put your city ID in the weather config and in temp config inside sysstats and in the weather.ini too, in weather.ini there are 2 lines with city ID.

Im behind a router too.
