Ive asked for help in the past, about 2 weeks ago, basically got none, so I got bored with that skin. You guys are free to design a skin (Board index, Forum Index, and Postbit) and if its good enough I'll code it.
Do you have a psd file of the one you linked to earlier? if I get time (harvest right now, so only a little time) I'd like to continue work on that one.

Tiger Bar looks horrible...

The top bar looks fine to me... It not a special design its supposed to look like Tiger and that it does. When you start Tiger the bar isnt a couple of lines off the top... it dosnt follow you about... its at the top so you know where it is. Its thier to help you!
I see we've come to a skin disscussion again Tim has stated several times that he wants help if you want the skin changed help him. Personally I think the skin you designed so far Tim looks really great and agreed all that is needed on the bar is a shsdow to make it look authentic but as is its great I was really impressed when I first saw it!
Take your time Tim Id rather have a the site worked before you start worrying about how it looks....

I think the Tiger bar at the top looks pretty nice and it is clean but something about it just doesn't appeal to me plus I think a lot of the items in the menu are useless and kind of just trying to throw stuff in there to make it look full. I think if a lot of skinners collaberated then the skin could turn out to be something pretty amazing.

Fair enough but its like a computer... Most users will barley use the full potential of thier computer but the features need to be thier incase they are needed. I think we need to remove more forum links such as 'My assistant' etc and stick them in the menu-bar to make it more useful to everyone...
I was thinking maybe you could make the {red yellow green} buttons as the button that collapses/uncollappses forums in the index (the little [+] on the default skin). Also maybe you should use LucidaMAC as the font for the Tiger bar (seems more MAC ). The gradients for the forum/topic title in that screenshot seem to be really weird and not in the aqua/panther/tiger style. It could be more like the Tiger bar bg, and I think the reply etc buttons should have an Aqua bg with Mac pix. also you could put the little magnifying glass thingy in the search box. I also think the bg shouldn't be that blue color but rather the Aqua bg or the Tiger bg!

I'm working on a powerbook here, using the system fonts. Timmie runs an iBook. He knows. You can't get more mac that that.

instead of a normal color to color gradient use a tiger gradient
This is regarding the new Tiger-styled Caption/Taskbar on the forums...Has any member been able to get both the A/S logo and the Search (blue parts) to work with the most recent Firefox Branch/Aviary builds?
Reason being, I am using a optimized Branch/Aviary build 20040804 (which has the recent 0.9.3 Four Security patches), Moox is the builder, and have not been able to get any of his recent builds to work with the new Tiger bar...
Moox is very receptive to any issues, with his builds and I have a good repore with him...
This feature works perfectly well in IE6...please list here your recent Branch/Build----ie: Is it a optimized build, or Official build and if this feature does infact work for you...
I will then let Moox know the issues with more details...

This is really strange as I have posted this issue @pryan.org/forums, and a member with exact same dated Moox optimized build as I have posted a 'great ss' of these features working perfectly well for him...

All I get when I click on these two blue graphics is the following, what ever page that I'm on, I get a # at the end, and the A-S favicon changes from its default to the generic favicon that comes with Lynch's ProLCD skin... ie:

Only thing I can think of, is the javascript isn't loading, because the links them selves are "#" but there is an "onclick=" tag to show the div's for the search box and menu :/ it works on all 4 browsers, opera, firefox 9.3, ie, and safari for me so I can't really do much :S

Hi Timan,
Thanks for taking a look at this, as I have just started a new Firefox Directory & Profile, with the same Moox optimised (20040804) Branch/Aviary build, but have not loaded any of my 3 extensions yet:
1. TBE ver: 1.10.2004080602
2. Tabbrowser Preferences ver: 0.6.8
3. Compact Menu ver: 1.6.6
And the features on the Tiger Taskbar are working perfectly...dam so this leads me to conclude that it is one of the above extensions that is causing this issue...
I know that 98% of our collective membership use TBE, so this one should not be the culprit...Now I will do the process of adding each one then testing the features and see which one is the cause...

Ok, after further investigation with my extensions, it is Tabbrowser Preferences 0.6.8 that is the cause of this issue...As I really only use it so that my URL searches and Google Bar searches open up in a new tab...It might be conflicting with TBE somehow.
TheOneKea, is now the extension author, who took over from the original author, and is doing an admirable job, so I will have to write him about this issue...
At least now, I know that it is not the Moox builds... 
P.S. Is there a setting within TBE, that would allow me to do the above requests (new tabs for both URL & Google/Search Bars), and maybe I can eliminate Tabbrowser Preferences all together..
Advanced Use feature within TBE has these options...perfect, and the new version from PYr0 is working well...Cool deal as I now have Timmie's Tiger Taskbar fully functional!! lol...
