Aqua-Soft ForumsAnyone else think that the bar at the top of this page looks really gross? I don't know what it is about it. Maybe the font or the look or maybe just the whole idea is looking utterly ugly. Anyone else think so?

It looks good here. Post a screenie, let us see how does it look on your monitor.
Everything looks crappier on windows classic, sid 
my only problem with it is that it's right up to the top of the browser window... i just wish there was a little space between it and the top.

Why is that?
I like it, even though I don't use that much. it's cool 
because you kind of lose it, becomes a little bit unnoticeable. for the work you put into it, it should stand out a little more (in my opinion)
The only thing I could think of why it looks ugly is because the rest of the skin is a default.
It's like eating a chocolate cake that tastes like viel. It's very decieving.
It looks pretty good to me but what I don't understand is why is this forum like the default IFB skin? Why is there not an Aqua skin? And please don't yell if I missed something, I was away for a while.
No, Timmie has yet to create an Aqua-Skin for IPB 2.0 after the accedental upgrade from 1.3. And with his luck, 1.3 skins are not compatable with 2.0.

Here's an idea for the menubar: have it so that it stays at the top of the browser screen when you scroll down like this:

actually, that screenshot that LPF pasted above, that's kind of what i was thinking... notice the tiny space between the top of the bar in the window and where the links bar is in I.E.
something small & subtle, just to distinguish it apart from the browser.

I meant don't have it so that the bar is static while the rest of the site scrolls. The 2 pixel-ish gap doesn't look much different.
i wasn't actually referring to what you were saying... i was kinda referencing my own input from the last page... when i saw the screenshot, that was just reinforcing what i was trying to say.

I miss the shadow under the bar but you dont see me making up a thread to complain about it, right?
all my comments about the look/feel go directly to Tim by PM, IM, or other means.
Tim asked for help on the look/feel and very few people offered him much input.
besides, if it is a comment/suggestion forum, why can I not suggest someone help Tim out instead of *****ing or creating new obstacles?
