I think it is obvious that the developers here are owed a huge thanks and ALOT of rest.
That said, I think something else we should focus on is the develoment of the desklets and app itself before we make 10000 requests of the developers.
Maybe I am alone in this, but I think bug reports are number one in importance.
Feature requests, though understandable and frequent due to the open nature of the boards, are a hinderance.
When someone releases something for iTunes, that shouldnt mean the developer gets requests for every single app known to man. First, the developers should be given the best possible bug reports, then graphical issues, and then usability.
Features and proprietary app requests are a hinderance to the core of the app and can divert the real focus of the developers intent.
I am all for open discussion, but can we all take a break on requsting features froim a desklet until it is further along in development?
Maybe an unspoken respect until the developer is finished fine tuning a plugin isnt such a bad idea.
So take it as you wish, and I am not saying I am not guilty of it, but filling up threads with 'I want it to shave my goat on thrusdays after 3am' are getting a bit tedious when the developer just wants to release a working, fine tuned, and final app/plugin.
My fear is that with so many requests(AND THE FACT THAT THEY DO IT FOR FREE...HELLLOOOO??!~?!?!) we may lose yet another round of developers.
Think about it like this...AquaSoft isnt Burger King..you cant always get it YOUR way.
That's my 2 cents...anyone have a counterpoint?
