Yea, but see when I goto the rotate window, where it ask for Y X Z Angle, what exactly do I put in?
Im not using the window, use the toolbar buttons...they are MUCH easier. LDraw has a small problem with an inverted axis...Im not certain if it's the Z or X axis, but one of them is reversed, so Im doing everything by buttons.
Turn your grid on and set it to fine and youre good to go.
Ah I see, nice, works good now
, now if I could only get this crap to render.
No kidding, I dont know what Heinzoliger did, but this is all I can get through LDview:

ok I basically got it to render, just didn't render what I wanted lol,
Open your .ldr in L3Lab save as a pov yada yada yada, open it up in Pov Ray and press render till it renders, I had to press it about 50 times then it finally came out.
So let's see it!
I discovered that if I had the images rtender in Mega-PoV then everything works out good. Now I just have to set up camera angles and lighting.
Hmm is there a way to save as a tif? The mac version lets me but it takes forever to even loadup anything on my ibook
.
Also if your having problems rendering, PovRay 3.6 should fix it for you.
Very nice. I'll be playing with this app for quite awhile ![]()
Here's a first release of an icon:

hell yea a lego icon set :|
very nice, reminds me of the Aqua (underwater, not sure of the real name) series.
Timan, you've got me hooked on this damn Lego builder!
A work in progress:

Only 1/3 through, but the parts I was worried about having were in the library, so everything should turn out nice.
I cant get this app to work.., can't find the lib.. that it asking for when I start it
I want this app sooo BAD! ![]()
Ah how could I forget, here is an updated library of pieces. http://www.ldraw.org/modules.php?op=modloa...eq=getit&lid=31
The libraries were a mystery to me at first as well, taking a few minutes to figure out. First, make certain ALL the apps are installed.
Then, as you start several of the apps they will ask for locations to different directories. Every directory you need is installed under LDraw, so you can browse to find each directory. Start at the top LDraw folder, then browse to each directory and sub-directory one by one. When you find the directory you need, the "OK" button will become active.
Funny story about the most recent library update...Explorer decided to hook into it and would not let it go after many reboots. This meant I couldnt delete, erase, overwrite or shred the file on my desktop. A quick solution - boot into safe mode, open a command prompt from the directory you have the file located at then use taskmanager to turn off explorer.exe. you can the del the file through the command prompt.
Back to work for me on this star fighter!
I'm gonna have to wait till tonight to get back to building, have to start work on this crap forum skin ![]()
I've been working most of the day today, but I was able to get a little Lego love in... not bad for my second ever project!

HAHA SWEET
I'm still working on my wing fighter... I've had alot of RL work to do. Now I'm stuck on bendable hoses... what a pain in the ass. Does anyone know how to find exact coordinate points inside LDraw?
I'm not that far yet
I've started working on this little thing: http://library.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=14739
I'm doing the car and I find it sooooo cool. This indeed is the best darn app ever made!
