Ken: I'm sorry if I'm flodding you haha, but I have some widget ideas

1. iDoodle - A small pad, a tad bit bigger than Stickies, appears, where you can just hold down the left click and make little doodles

2. Mood lights - Click a small button or "pull" a light switch, and you get different neon color lights that you can place at the top button, left, right.

3. Countdown - A prompt appears asking the title, and time of the event. If no time is given, 12:00am is used, then the count down appears

Just ideas that I though up when I was downstairs eating tacos haha, you can completetly ignore all of them, I'm just psyked about this flash app.

I think it'd be cool if he could make a built in browser....(I do not know if it's possible) showing Aqua-Soft.

AND/OR a cool movie player. maybe you can add a drop down thing to the iTunes conroller to show a movie that we have stored on our hd (I belive this is possible)

AND/OR/and/or (i'm not sure if this is what you meant by doodling is so never mind.) a drawing pad. the size of the calender but wider and square so we can draw. Looking like a canvas. (if ya want I can make it in PS)

just my 2 cents...or should I say 3 cents since I made 3 comments...

ken! Please if possible try to make a drawing pad...Even if it comes out really suck. Please....at least try.... :canadian: It is a GREAT idea. and I love the name "iDoodle". not to be confused with "I duke" !!!

I have already found a good background for the blackboard

But please, no more widget requests for the moment. There are still tons to be done with the current ones and I try to work as much as I can in my spare time.

[update] That's the iTunes widget so far. Play/Pause/Previous/Next buttons, position slider, display of Artist, Song, Album or all 3 in scrolling mode, volume control.

Quick answer: No! The first version of DW will only let you have one of each kind. Those are not meant to be complete apps, just a few gadgets to help you enter a quick note, find a date in the calendar or perform a quick calculation, etc.

Besides, who would want to have a complete app confined in the desktop wallpaper?

I just had read earlier that you had asked if it was possible to create multiple stickies in tiger and how and I was wondering if DW was also going to have that. forgive me if this has already been answered, but this is the first time I've seen this thread at all.

After browsing through the code of the original widgets, I found nothing related to having two or more instances of a widget on the desktop. I also found out how you select paper colour for the stickies, what the red button in the address book does (opens the Mac address book app), how u select a city for the world clock, etc.
