It would kill Aqua-soft's 56k modem users bandwidth (or close to it). The brushed metal skin that AquaXP has (it's a choose-able skin now) done works but is even slow on a 256k connection.
@Lou. Add a black (1px) border around the collapse button (that's how it is in Mac OS X).

yeaah, I know. don't worry, the skin will be made with real ss's and resources from mac os x tiger, so don't worry. im just giving you guys a mockup of what it could/will look like. i think im done doing that too, its about time we start to make it, haha.

If you guys can live with the current skin for a week or two, then I might be able to get a new design together for a new skin, but if not I guess an updated version of the old skin will do?
My question is, "Why does everybody care about the skin?" Does the skin affect the ability for members to function within normal parameters? No!
Timan: Take your time. The skin shouldn't be as high of a priority as actually administering and moderating the forums.

I personally would say just concentrate on the new skin. People can lump it if they can't handle a couple of weeks with out an aqua skin... The main reason I visit here is because of the community, the skin is just the icing on the cake (that sounds a bit horrible >.< )

Yes, I am having problems...
You'll have to remake it all for RC1 as it will have big changes. I recommend you waiting for RC1, if not you'll have to remake it... or enjoy the problems/bugs the old skin will cause on RC1.
