It's called the Display Properties
.
I know that one version of System Files that someone created switches around somethings so it looks more like the OSX's panel.
I think he means an all in one app to change icons, objectbar, objectdock, windowblinds, sounds, screensaver, logon screen, bootscreen, nexplorer, sysprefs, ishut, about finder, winamp, win media player, cursors, firefox, trillian, and other misc apps. I was thinking about this one too. You could add witch apps are included into each theme, and map out there locations on your drive, then name the theme somthing like "panther aqua", or "Panther Brushed", select the theme, hit apply, and presto, all apps match the same theme.
I have been doing this using autoit, or batch files. I use crni objectbar themes, and in the theme changer menu, I put a link to the batch file to change all my themes, and skins at once.
once again, i think this is unfortunately being done best by stardock: themechanger.
their internal builds sound good, but they always have at least one or two really, really annoying features/bugs/design flaws.
i had a recent similar thread here: here
hey neosublime, post your batch file ![]()
this seems like one of the most useful apps that could be made in this community.

hey ever thought if somebody can mod Stylexp?
Because if the WMP skin is defined in the actual msstyle file then it'd work... the latest version of the app also supports Explorer toolbars... though they may look a little cheesey... also supports IP (just have to set the directory to search) and themes as long as you've set the parameters before saving as a theme file? (mouse cursors, icon sizes... etc.)
Here's good way the change VSs: double-click the VS ![]()
 ****in people!! u don't want u system to look like os x??. if a developer is interested to do this. post please.

Totally uncalled for I think ![]()
whoa man calm down!
I think that really this app is unneccessary (sp?
) but there is no need to be mean to a user/s. <_<
FlyAKite 5.1 SP1 will totally mod the display properties, shell32.dll, control panel and many other things beside (the only drawback I find is that Display Proerties [with FlyaKite] takes ageeees to open the screensaver tab...)

try changing you screensaver I have it set to (none) and it opens instantly just as fast as the un-modded version
sory if i offended you or anyone here, it wasn't my intention.

You should've thought of that before ranting because no developer replied eager to create the app for you, give these things some time. If a developer doesnt feel intersted in the project then, theyre is nothing you can do... unless you want to pay them.
Also, this topic needed a [Request] tag.

i was talkin about the people not the developers ![]()
use uxtheme.dll revised version...just google it. then replace the DLL in your /system32 directory...to do that go into safe mode (it works for me)
then use display properties
I, as a developer also feel this would be a waste of time. The display properties dialog is one you hardly ever see in windows and so it seems unnecessary to spend many hours creating a replacement that has thr same if not less functionality. However of course, If I'm really bored during the summer, and I see some donations (hint hint), I'll fix you up with it.

Well, if it helps static at all, I'd like an app like this because I am almost always changing things under display properties and I really like the OS X topbar with icons and text for each section.
like I said use FlyAKites system mods

I know it isnt 1:1 but like I stated before an app like this would be complicated and would not have the same functionality of display properties we are talking about changing the way the whole sytem looks its becomes quite tricky. Why not just use display properties you only see it every so often its not somthin you use every time your on your system and with the mod its looks very similar to OSX but still has 100% reliable functionality!

i think, he is talking about a System prefferences app, that can act, and look like the Mac OS`one !! ... that`s a dream app !! and noboddy is trying to code it. think that kind of app is one of the hardest one to make.. who knows....
but if we have that app. we can change the wall paper and so on using it. you know....
Well....
