and yes, you can change your processor info in 0.2.0 but its quite hard...i dont understand it. it looks like hex, but i have no idea how to change it....and you probably dont want to mess wtih it. ih ave a 3 ghz P4, but that doesnt mean i can tell it to emulate a 3 ghz G3.
edit: wait for Altivec to be integrated into it. might help with the CPU
