if i had a panther, or even a jaguar, install disk i would try it out but not a mac store around here for miles and miles.

PPC is now in .3pre and .3pre+SDL. It's nice.
Any one know how well this new version emulates the G5 proc. in this new version?
i cant figure that out, personally. it always says 0 ghz G3! and it runs quite slowly...yes it does allow YOU to tell it how much ram you have.

It does not emulate the G5 CPU at all.
The G5 is a 64 bit CPU where as the G3 and G4 are 32 bit.
i tried PearPC, got panther running ... i have 0.3 CVS pre Nightly Build ... but wich are the differences between CVS and SDL ??
and how could i get to run the sdl version ??

Could any one who has 0.3pre send me it please?
Okay, I should have mentoined this earlier in my last post, but how did some of the people who took screenshots @ pearpc.net have emulated G3s around 850MHz. You don't think these screens were taken with one of the optimized versions of the 0.3pre do you? Or is there a way to dedicate how much ever availible proc. speed you want in v.0.2.0 in the CPU Config portion of ppccfg.example?

I think you have been here long enough to know you are not supposed to link images bigger than the site structure. According to the new rules, 500 x 375 pixels.

you may want to read the new rules located here. Massive images like that shouldn't be posted inline. You should either make a thumbnail or link to them.
hey i`m trying to install the pearPc.exe and install my Mac os X panther copy. but. i have tons of problems. my first question is...
