i think i'd show this to my mum, but just to be safe...

You know you are a geek when you lost power in your home so you go out to buy a 100' extension cord to stretch from your neighbor's garage outlet to four more 15' extension cords (160' total) to reach to your kitchen to power your cable modem and your laptop.

Just happened.
