Just wanted to let you guys know that, on Stardock Central, there is a new ObjectDock build. I'm not sure what was changed since the changelog has not been updated ever, however, it seems as though the dock shows alot more smoothly now (not as laggy as before).
New Objectdock Out
You wouldn't have a download link handy would you? I don't have a Stardock Central account ![]()
stardock central is free to use.
Oh righty, whoops thought that was a pay to use thing, I'll check it out, thanks ![]()
Hmm...I can't find it. Can anyone point me the right place?
Hey, this link is for the old version man (1.0 - 11/21/2003)! >.
oops. sorry.
YOU HAVE TO USE STARDOCK CENTRAL.
btw, they didn't update the about box so it still has the 285 build info.
Uh, that doesnt sound right, I dont think it was updated

I have serious dubts that Jeff has made a similar thing.... :canadian:
...have you already dloaded? Please tell us what's new you've noticed!
Originally posted by bangbang023@May 7 2004, 02:00 PMYes, it downloaded and updated fine. SDC reports the correct version number, but the about box has not changed. It seems a little less laggy when autohide is being used. Otherwise nothing noticeable to me.
I just updated it and I find that it is a little more responsive and a lot more smooth.
just updated, the about box still says 1.0
Bleh Im not downloading trough Stardock Central, isnt there a Alternative link??

yeah, the about box hasn't been updated in this buil or the one before it.
felix, why you refuse to use SDC is beyond me, but that's your loss then.
Originally posted by mephisto@May 7 2004, 07:51 PMwhy don't you just upload it somewere so we can just try?
please?

You can't just download it to a disk. SDC downloads the files and then applies them. It doesn't save it locally.
i don't see y they just don't post about the new update on their site, it's annoying having to open stardock central just to see if there is a update to objectdock....
holy crap, people will complain about anything. if you don't want to use SDC, you don't get to use the latest build. Simple as that. No one is forcing you.

I second that :mastercool:

I third that.
Don't understand what the difference is between going to the site and downloading or using SDC to update it?
Originally posted by AthleticTrainer1981@May 7 2004, 11:25 PMIf you read through the stardock newsgroups...it is on there.
It's not truly a new version...just an update.
I read the stardock objectdock newsgroup and there's no mention of the .009 release nor what is supposedly "fixed/changed" in it that I could find. Please enlighten us if you can quote something directly.
omg I simply posted this for everyone who used it. I posted it here, neowin, and designtecnika (however you spell it). If you don't believe me, I don't care. the 008 release also had no updates in the about box so I expected it this time around.
