Not realy crazy, i cant do without 1600, of corse im on a 21in, but would have to use 1600 on a 17.
[ot] Do You Think I´m Crazy?
Heck, I tried running 1600*1024 on my 15" LCD once. The fonts looked like crap and I couldn't get it over 75 hertz.

I´ve been reading som ehealt and ergonomics sites, i found that anything above 70 or 75hz is safe for the vision.

I think so
I am using a 17" monitor with 1024x768. If I use anything higher than that, I am see pixels on my screen. ![]()
If anyone knows what I can do to solve it, it will be greatly appreciated.
hmm... on linux, i'd use 1400x1050 on my 17" and it'd all look great (linux always has had big fonts for the screen contents for me). but in windows, i only use 1280x1024. anything larger than that is blinding lol. besides, my monitor only allows 1600x1024 NOT 1600x1200
and 1600x1024 is super duper wide screen lol

Now thats a crazy resolution!
I use 1280x1024 on my crappy 15" Proview 880... <_<
If I could I would use 1600x1200...
I'm running 1024x768 on a craptastic little 15" HP monitor. What do I win? ![]()
You win a... ... Dog Poo!!! (Y) (Y) (Y)

ps. sorry if this offends anyone but I thought it was rather funny... :6
Yay! Thanks Infinity, that made my day! ![]()
I'm using the max resolution, 1024x768, on me 15" laptop screen... it doesn't seem to support anything higher than that... o_o
...and yes, you are crazy. ![]()
Well, erm I er... forgot what I was gonna say... *bangs head repeatedly on table to make me remember* Oh yeah there we go...
My 15" apparently isn't supposed to support 1280x1024, but it does, so I smell burning, I know what it is!
My monitor goes up to 1600x1200, but I use 1024x768 so I don't burn my eyes out.
Of course, none of this will matter one the price of 42" Plasma Screens drop. :woot:
