Well, i use Y'z dock, but i am hoping to make the dock panel compatible with all 3 major docks.
For Y'z, i am just going to edit the .ini file where it stores the preferences. I dunno how Mobydock and OD store favorites, but if they are accessible externally, my app will be compatible with them as well.
Very, very nice. I assume you have all of the screenshots you need?? If not let me know. Also, a question about your app. Is it going to have realistic animation effects you know, when switching between sections and when the window is resized?? Just would like to know, that would be totally superb!

well, atm there is no animation when switching between panels, but i hope to include that eventually.

very sweet app u've created but why when i run the System Preferences.exe do i get this msg
the application failed to initialize properly -

.Net Framework is a runtime environment for Visual Studio .Net
Most users who run Windows Update regularly should already have this installed.
The error may have been caused by a version conflict between what the program was compiled with and the version currently installed on your system.
Suggestion would be to run Windows update and verify that your system is up to the current version of .Net Framework.
Current version is .Net Framework SP2. (File Version info 1.0.3705.288)
If the system preferences program was coded in C#, which I think it is as stated in an earlier post, then you need to be at the same version or greater.
My 2 cents... hope this helps.

The .NET framework is a new development by Microsoft and from the looks of things it's going to be underlying a LOT of new programs coming out, so you may as well get it now.
Try http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com or http://msdn.microsoft.com/netframework/default.asp to download/get more information.
Also, it won't matter what release the app is at, if it was coded in C#, you'll need to download the framework before you can run it.
