Yeah, one of my main goals was not to rely on any external controls, like the AquaControls (which i couldnt use in c# anyway)
As a result tho, development time will increase because i am having to make all the widgets and stuff from scratch. I have already done this, but that is why progress was delayed.

Well, it will be difficult to port to linux because it is beigng developed to change Windows preferences, using proprietary things such as the registry.
Once i complete the win version, I *may* port it to linux, but that would require an incredible amount of time
Yeah, please make a pre-release.
It would be great to test it, and maybe we can help you developing it.

Altho i have much of the code in place, the gui is taking a long time. Therefore, most of the visual program is incomplete. The Desktop panel, however, is very near finished.
As soon as it is finished, i will probably make a prepreprepre-Alpha release with just the desktop panel.
Also, if someone with a mac could contact me on msn (hyperb0le@hotmail.com), that would be greatly appreciated

Well, i've got the gui completely done for the desktop panel, now i just need to connect the code to it.
However, atm i only have one of the many folders programmed in for wallpapers. ATM, only the Apple Background Pictures is accessable. It will take me a good deal of time to program in the others.
Would you guys rather: (1) Get a prerelease sooner, meaning possibly tonight or tomorrow, with just one set of wallpapers or (2) wait a little while (wed or thurs) to get the release to include all the panels? [EDIT] OOPS! I didnt mean all the panels. I meant all the folders of wallpapers. sorry [/EDIT]

The screenshot that Undertaker posted is actually a screenshot of an earlier version of OSX.

Notice that they removed the "digital hub" section. I dont really know why they did, but they did all the same.
hyperb0le, which dock do you use? It would be awesome to implement your fave dock (OBJECTDOCK I HOPE) into a dock preferences tab. This should be next as it would be really useful as well. Or maybe the screensavers tab.
