I bet as soon as Stardock see this is popular, it will be in a WinFx update...

#142566

i wanna try to translate it, how would i go about doing it?

#142598

Its pretty cool ... lags like a b!tch with mozilla. but REALLY clean. Maybe someone could re-compile the app, and use GCC optimizations??? Just a thought.

edit: If you want translate you could just go through the code and translate with a text editor and zip it or re-compile

sorry about spelling... getting used to new keyboard.

This is actauly based off a microsoft idea. :D

I can't get the exact page becasue it seems like Microsoft's research site isn't coming up for me

http://research.microsoft.com/

Where they talk about interface designs, you'll see some pretty old pictures (I belive they came out around 1998 or so) of a propesed user interface. It looked extacly like manodate and seemed to work about the same way.

looks interesting

Here's the exact Mircosoft page.

http://research.microsoft.com/adapt/taskgallery/index.htm

I rember seeing this years ago, before manodate (which look exatcly like it) came out

all the links seem to be dead. If someone could send it to me I could host the files. the program and the edited config. Thanx

#148312

How to remove the labels?

Ok label removed.

ha, i recommended it to a guy who has a PC like this:

P1 166 MHz

64MB RAM

2MB video

and it works smooth

but i found a bug with MSN messenger: if the window is in 3D, the window doesn't start to blink in the taskbar that i have a new message....

Actually, this is great for working on the PC. I was waiting for looking glass just so I could use the 3D windows.

It's great for organizing the desktop when you have about 20 - 35 windows open at the same time. Specially the shortcuts, so you can pop windows to the side and back up without wasting time clicking buttons. Although it will leech RAM when you are working at those levels, It's still damned cool. I'm burning this on my next back-up disk and will be using it for as long as I use windows. :canadian:

EDIT: I just realized that I used to use the little button on WindowBlinds Mac themes to "roll-up" the window all the time, this kicks it's ass big time. :P
