They have some wicked sh## man!!

But...

They ripped off apples design for the website and how the specs of computers are laid out, check it out... go to notebooks and youll see the lineup of the 3 sizes they have on the top just like apple has 12'', 15'' and 17''

I smell copyright issues hehehe

hmmm... I smell a lot of fishyness about that site. First of all, the products seem pretty - well - unbelievable, in the sense that I do not believe they exist. The site design looks like apple's, the laptops look like dells, and the desktops look like a palm pilot photoshopped onto a custom case. And finally, there are a LOT of grammatical errors on their site, which would be very unlikely for such an A-mazing marketing and technology company.

If nothing else, that company is the most narcissistic organization I've seen in a while.

My two or three cents. I just wouldn't hand them my credit card number anytime soon.

Perfectly agreed.

Been reviewing their site over and over again and what was said above is amazingly true. They were even bordering with geeky-lame humor with the "ah..rchitecture!" feature. Eww that felt like a PC geek mimicing jobs.

the "introducing" famous opening by apple® was all over the place. I think it smells like teen spirit.

It reminds me of the emails that want you to feed in your credit card details to "verify" them. Also, the logo looks very similar to the twisted ribbon of some medical charity or other, I forget which one. Hmm...

Well, I didn't dig into the computers and whatnot, but the displays look exactly like something I saw at Comdex a few years ago (don't remember the company, but the prices were obviously much higher then). They're basically regular 15, 17, and 19 inch LCD displays transplanted into a case which holds three or four of them. The price and resolutions are about right for that scenario too.

What's that I see? Why, it's an icon from RadE8. And some Apple icons too

the photos seem like the kind u can get at stock photography

and about the 3.8 ghz there might be one out but the latest I've heard about is 3.2 but it is possible to reach 3.8 by overclocking

#58635

I called the company and they sound legit, they told me that he actual cpu is not 3.8 ghz they said it acheives a speed of 3.8 ghz because of thier fine tuning and special software. The 2 terabytes of storage can be acheived by adding hard drives to the 8 drive bays.

fine print on bottom of the Mach 3.8 page

* 3.8GHz Accelerated Intel Pentium 4 Hyper-Threading CPU (3.20GHz base clock speed).

** 950MHz Accelerated System Bus from 800MHz base clock speed.

I believe that it is possible to overclock from 3.2 ghz to 3.8 ghz, because on the following website they have overclocked a P4 3.2 ghz up to 5.13 ghz!!

Best P4 "Northwood" Overclockers

But I would have to see it in action before I would buy one!!

is there a such thing as 8x burners and 3.8Ghz processors?

I just purchased a couple of BenQ 8X DVD burners for our office last week. They work well and burn fast.

#58646

Well the processor they claim is the 3.2 P4 EE. And the fine print says that they overclocked it to 3.8. The 8x burners exists, just a couple of models afaik.

The disk drives are also true, the picture looks like a Cenatek Rocket Drive which is a basic solid state SDRAM drive.

The case is also out there; I think tomshardware reviewed it earlier this year. It has a big compressor for subzero cooling.

What else.. I'm not really sure about the 3 firewire 800 ports since I think there are no motherboards that support that yet. Unless they're using a PCI card of course.

It seems realistic to me so far.

Though I their website is an obvious ripoff.

if someone buys one of thoes for me i can give you a thourgh breakdown on it ;)

and Intel does not allow companys to sell Overclocked PCs

not true, ive seen some credible companys selling overclocked pc's. I cant think of the name off hand though...

It probaly jsut voids the manufacturers warranty.

#58776

"PuRam™ no System Hard Disk Technologies, up to 2 Terabytes of storage "

they might be for storage on servers and supercomputers

although a search on google doesn't reveal much

#58861

Its say's that their P4 motherboards are Prescott compatible? I thought that Intel decided to change the CPU package for Prescott? <_<

The case pics look very Photshop'ed. Especially the close up of the 3800Mhz LCD. I know 3.2 can be taken to 4Ghz+ with water cooling, but this company still seems fake.
