I was curious to know which finder you guys prefer cause there's just been so many of them being released and updated recently and i'd like to know to which one the aqua-soft audience leans more :naughty:

I think that his poll is unjust. No finder should be judged. While it may complement some finders, it may upset develpors. Half of our finders might disapeer because of this. Please do not vote, or express your opinion.
I don't think any of them are 'finished' yet.
Xplore has the most potential, Felix8 is doing good right now so that's my choice. The others are a bit buggy and not skinned well, no offense tho.
I've only tried Xplore and Felix8.
Neither are finished so I'm not saying.

@Flarex, i don't see how this could be unjust. people feel the need to express and whether you want it or not, if you release a product - be it finished or not - you are prone to judgements. however, i'm here not asking judgement. i'm asking simply which one do you prefer. voting is (to the extent that i know) annonymous, so nobody's judging nobody. c'mon you don't use all finders on your pc do you? u gotta use one.
@bh2, i wouldn't call any product finished. Any product. i myself am a developer and i know that.
people, if you feel like you, by exposing your preference for one finder over another, will offend any of the authors simply don't expose it.
and authors, if you feel offended or in any way sad by the eventual results of this poll, don't. you all have good software (none of the finders are utter crap) and this is one more reason to go back to coding and do better!
don't take this the bad way. this is encouragement. if people continue to dislike this and argue that it's too early, just say and i'll delete this right away.
I think this post helps everyone. Lets us all know which direction to go in and eventually give the user the best experience.

If one of the finders gets more votes then others, it discourages the 3 others developers who are making the other finders. And who knows, maybe their finders would have gotten better then the one chosen. This is a sure way to make developers leave. If i was a mod i'd close this thread.

OK then... The one I'm using most is Xplore...I can't seem to set the others up to my taste at the mo'....I will not grumble about any of these...christ...if I could make one I would. I really don't know which one will come out tops. Interesting though...keep it up guys!
I enjoy Xplore alot because it's fully functional as far as copy and pasting and what have you. But once Felix 8 gets these functions built in there will be no contest which finder is better.
Tried all of them... I'm not going to use one on a regulat basis untill there's a final version.
like buddy christ, I tried them all.
All have great potential, however as a hardcore mac user, I always reverted back to Xplore and felt a lot better with it. I think that simplicity, visual accuracy, with minimal and correct functionality is the key to a successful aqua app.

Poor BZfinder, if its author stops developing it we'll know who to blame.
right now I personaly like Xplore because its almost fully working. Once Felix 8 is fully working my vote is towards Felix.
I really want thumbnail browsing in felix. I know the app isn't done, but until its done I'm using Xplore.

hmm... listen, flarex. u posted too early to see where this was going. all your post did was entice. may i suggest you something? whenever you see a thread that might lead to a flame-war, report it to a mod "this or that thread might become a flame war, please take actions" and the mod will judge if it's plausible or not and take the actions necessary. that's what mods are for. don't just post "oh this will become a flame war cause of this and that" because that actually makes the thread prone to becoming a flame-war cause it shows eventual weakness on that base and gives people ideas. furthermore, that kind of comment u just expressed just provokes more and more. i sincerely believe that if this thread becomes a flame war, that by any means it was not because of its original subject. because no one else is talking about flaming in this thread except for me and you and i'm just talking about it because i'm replying to you.
