Hell, I'd get a Mac even if it had OS 9 on it! It still kills a PC!

I copied the ocx into sys32 & dllcache...not working. Another culture shock on my Chinese WinXP?
Try it with the ocx just in the same directory as the .exe file for the app. Thats the way I did it, and it worked fine.
its great but just one comment
i think if it would have the three panels
would be even better and more mac like.
JoLeLuv:
This time it's not the Language.
Just copy the ocx file and do a cmd line: regsvr32 actskin4.ocx
and it runs OK.
is there anyway i can make it remember window size?....or is that gonna be in the next version
I agree that this dude, TiG4 & Alilm should work together to make one ultra-kick-ass Finder! "The Finder Project."
-Nando
when will you guys figure it out that all tehse are are little fun things to hold you all over till the real finder app comes out ![]()
jk- although, ours will be really full featured, these are great simple little things that really ad the function i need (xplore anyway, havent been able to use bzfinder cause i'm on vacation and only have my mac with me
)
seriously though, i was about to kill explorer, these are great, and make me so happy
i dont know how bz finder works, but as far as xplore, column browsing is not an option without rewritting the app form teh ground up, all xplore is is new way to use teh explorer core, its kinda like skinning the explorer, cept different-
doesnt really have to much to do with this app in particular cause i havent been able to use it, but i cant wait to, (not till sat.) just i dunno..... yeah :6
rooskee, it's not working and that's why I tried copying it into sys32 folder.
and mkii:
:woot: Thanks!!!!! that's working!
yeah this is quite like a...'Aqua Wars-Attack of the clones' :naughty:
sorry, i got nuthin for ya then... i am not very up to date on bugs with this app
great!!
but one thing is why it can't show the icon what is changed by iconpackager,i mean it only can show the icons in the shell32.dll,like the same app:felix ~~~~
can you change it? ![]()

Start > Run > "cmd" (without the quotes)
A DOS-style window will pop up. type
cd directory_of_ocx_file
(where directory_of_ocx_file is the directory that contains actskin4.ocx)
then
regsvr32 actskin4.ocx

Tisk Tisk Tisk, talking about things you know little about young padawan.
Column style browsing is already underway and well. ![]()
So please dont speak on my behalf in regards to Xplore and any features that are or arent possible, because anything is possible. :naughty:

actually I just go to strat -> run and type in the regsvr32 actskin4.ocx and 'tada~' it's done.
I did this 'cos I have the actskin4.ocx in sys32 folder. If the .ocx is in another folder, you'll have to do as Cerebral says. ![]()
In the next hours I will release the new version with new features... the app will remember its size and position on screen...
