is that white bar supposed to be there?
that is part of the graphics in the folder.
this is pertaining to the new version 1.0.3
when you're in the preferences and click on the "text" or "selected text" color... if you hit cancel, it still accepts the color as if you hit ok.

My pictures link keeps pointing to the same locations as the network link :cry: if I change the network link (the first one, the pictures one is affected too)... is it just me or is this happening to all of you guys?
My pic link is acting wierd too, it erases the 'c:\documents and settings\...\pics' link I put in the linkage field every time I close and run Xplore again
In the new version, Pictures still doesn't link right and the preferences window now takes an abnormally long amount of time to open (probably due to the "show task bar" bug fix).
My picture link is also leading me to the network link.

in the preferences tutorial, it says to link to the desktop, there's 2 ways:
shell:Desktop
or
::{00021400-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}
neither are working for me... when i click on the icon i designate as desktop, it does nothing... not even telling me that it's an unknown location. it just shows the contents of whereever i last was. only when i start xplore and click first on desktop does it give me the 'action cancelled' message shown here
is this a bug, or am i not linking to the right place?
works for me... Make sure you have the Launch FOLDER radio button clicked and not the launch file.

i don't know why it's working now... i deleted the preferences file again and redid it, not it is?? oh well, in the end, it works.
when i link to system preferences (::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}\::{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}) i do see all the icons but can not use them (nothing happens when i click on them)

and ya, i guess it was already mentioned, this version starts and exits with a timing-delay. 
actually i just noticed that too, only a few of them are working:
admin tools, fonts, network connections, printers, scanners, scheduled tasks...

yeah....i'm just going to say that too.... >.<
I do not have any timing delay... it takes 2 seconds to start and it closes instantly... (on my pc at work) which was a clean install. I would recommend removing all of version 1 and then try installing the new version again. On my pc at home were I installed over the existing version I am getting the delay. I havent been home yet to test out my theory... but it works great at my work. I will let you all know.
Maybe it is CPU speed? WHat are your specs guys? b/c this version has to load alot more of te prefs file.
I also have this time delay but i think it shouldn't be my CPU. I'm running an Athlon XP 3000+ and 512 MB RAM (about 33 to 38% used).
In version 1.03 My pictures always open in a new window outside Xplore. I've checked I have the latest d/l and deleted all my old files.....
This app will never remember VIEW as ICON ????
it is an anoying bug....... really !!!! (it applies for all the versions)
All the threads about Xplore are gettin' a little confusing... I mean, if you're away for a while and come back.. it's hard to know any last updates.... like I just read about a new version... 1.03???... I've been looking like crazy :cry:... But no luck
