I have some questions (not demands or bugging just inquiries) ... will this:
Be able to display icons\images out of the current users desktop folder automatically and display thumbnails for the icons (with transparency for png images). And let you manage those files from it.
Automatically mount your drives.
Let you choose which desktop icons to show\not show (as in my computer, network, my documents, IE, drives).

Nope not wrong thread. This program does desktop icons right? Well if I'm going to replace IconX with it I want it to do all the things it can do in addition to the gee whiz things like labels transitions, drive space, item count and so forth.
Like for example let's say you have some jpegs on your desktop. On the mac they show up on there as icons which you can label as any other icon and it is a thumbnail. If you can see these files you should also be able to move them around and delete them, copy them, move them around with your mouse and they remember their position, etc. Plus the icon system applies to all icons on the desktop like if you downloaded some files to your desktop or made a folder.
When you are working with icons off the windows desktop you get all the icons which would show up so I was wondering if for example if the auto mounting would work as I would like it if you could hide the floppy drive or whatever drive that you don't want showing. Like as an example in IconX you can hide or show the windows default icons as you see fit.
When I talk about auto mounting I wonder if for example you plug in a usb hard drive would it automatically show up or would you have to configure a copy of a drive docklet to show up for it.

Auto-mounting is implemented also thru a plug in.

Couple a days, 1.5 week at most. Fixed some more bugs. Trying to fix or workaround a bug that causes random crashes on right click :/, it looks like it is beyond my powers ( IContextMenu::Release() ).

HAHAHA that's right he's perfectionist but not enougth cause sometimes i find some things that haven't been implemented because of his lazyness ;) huhu
Anyway beta testing as you said is not so easy as it can seems to be, I guess some beta testers are better than me but i try to use avedesk at most of the possibilities, especialy when that make funny things

I'm a kick ass beta tester. I can break anything once or twice, plus I use alot of apps out of the norm, which can broaden the range of possible errors in a new app.
Edit: Not to mention I run AveDesk everyday.

I run a complex system, dual-monitor with heavy stuff like Maya, Arc+,and Arc Render PRO together with avedesk...
and even it's my work computer, it has all sort of crazy stuff installed just for my emusment
Bleh, not going to waste time or space asking to test something that needs no more testers, besides to me, asking is kind of disrespectful, TO ME, I'm not saying it is, and that you guys are being disrespectful.

It may work fine, no problem, you will only need to use effects that are not too hungry . Some of them are wuite fun but... it eat up the CPU for big desklet (192*192).
You'll not have troubles with AveDesk
