As soon as possible.

I just needed some time of from AveDesk, docklets, desklets and stuff, but I can inform you that I have just started coding on AveDesk again ( mainly bugfixing). Sorry, but I sometimes just need to get my mind of certains things and start working on other things, I have also had some exams from university which are more important than releasing this.

Another point for that this is not released yet, is because I want it to be 100% bugfree. It needs time to test all things under all circumstances, let alone fixing the bugs.

and yeah Pe7er, I am working on that desklet for you

Everytime i see a new post in here ....i hope there´s some news from AndreasV (i´m not pushing you about release ...understand me). But i see a lot of things that aren´t info about coding progress from other members ..... Why?

Please try to talk about "Avedesk 1.1 Coding Progress" .... my opinion .... wait until AndreasV´s news, or just talk about the app ... I don´t like Off topic chat in here <_<

Well, here's a new little update.

I lost a major part of the source-code recently, so I had to use a slightly older back up and update it. This took me quite some time, so that caused a little delay. Besides that, I needed some time off too, but I am fully working on it again.

I am pretty close to a stable and good working version now. What's left, is to get the final little errors out of it.

Besides that, I also need to create some content for 1.1, which takes full advantage of the capabilities in AveDesk 1.1.

I can't give a release date, because there are just too many uncertainties: university, soccer on tele, life, friends, feeling bad, no work-mood, etc... etc....

Keep in mind that I am doing this still for free and that it takes a lot (and I mean a lot) of work.

Anyhoo, just be patient. Remember, patience (for Americans, that is solitaire, but then this doesn't make any sense anymore :blink: ) is the mother of all card-games.

Andreas has stated he cant give a date, when he has an update, he will pm me and ill reopen the thread. Till then, lets all wait patiently.

Well, here is another little update.

I am really close to a release now. Basically, the application is finished, but I need to shape it a little more, change some texts, capitalize some words, get a paypall account up , get some graphics and get the website up and running. I have someone who is helping me with all this, but his time is also limited.

I know this may stink as an update, but it's getting summer: the temperature is rising and the soccerfields are calling me :soccer:.

I can say (this is not a promise tho) that the release won't be later than mid/end May, if the sun is not shining too much...

Maybe I'll post some more movies or screenshots soon.

OK, I know I said it should be out by know, but my motivation and time was on a critical low point last weeks: needed to do lots of work for uni and also needed to earn some money. Because this is still freeware, the other things have a higher priority for me. I hope you understand this.

Also, I have removed the source code from my harddisk right now and stored it savely on a CD, because I need all diskspace for another project I am working on. This makes it kinda hard to do work on it. I am trying to get a cool 'n kinky USB-stuck device, so I could work on this while I am doing nothing at university, but those things are kinda expensive.

Anyhoo, I promise you will be surprised by the new options and you can expect something soon - that is, if I have enough time.

sorry, release date is moved again. Really sorry, but I had this very important Java project to finish (passed it whooohoo). Need to do a presentation about it and then next are my exams. After my exams, I am a free man again :naughty:

I haven't been able to do any work on Aqua-apps, besides writing crappy apps in Delphi at uni when I was waiting for classes/meetings to start :6, luckily someone else is now also helping me with coding some really neat features in it for 1.2 and he found (and fixed) a couple of memory leaks too >.
