All projects has a leader. Solo or not, there will always be a leader barking out orders. Then, there is the people...
This makes me laugh, you just give orders....
One Suggestion, Dont call it jDock, take the Example of Yzdock, if you get it too close to
Panther Dock, you will be sued by Apple, call it like, TigerDock. (I just remembered of another big cat that wasnt a Panther

Umm...you can "be your own boss" you know. I'd much rather do what I wanted than have yet another person telling me what to do. Am I alone in this?
People should only work in groups when they are sure they can't accomplish the goal by themselves, and are sure that they can be productive with the other members.
To have a group work, it has to be a symbiotic relationship. Everyone has to need each other, and I doubt they NEED someone barking orders. If you guys do need someone to tell you what to do though, feel free to PM me.

lol but all project as a "cahier des charges" (in french in the text) i mean a project as clear goals, aims, objectives or whatever you want...
you can be a leader for a project... of course but you can not be leader of the wind (waooow i impressed myself) [again no offence i just think you got ideas but you can't manage to expose it]
so please expose your ideas clearly:
- GENERAL: what you want to do?
- CLOSER: The features you would like to have on your program
- CLOOOSER: How you will manage to implement your program
=> you should have all these notion by using the UML methode for instance or SADT methode or whatever.
A good programmer is not only a good coder
A configuration program would be nice, along with auto hide and different themes.
And contra; I know people can be thier own boss. But could someone answer my first question? If I started a topic on what to call the dock, would it be merged with this topic?

No, it would be closed, Im not going to keep merging topics all day. Im a busy man.
