I use Trillian Pro with Danimators milk iChat skin to go with my visual style. Very nice in looks and works well. Only thign i dont like about trillian Pro is that you cant direct connect with aim users and transfer images/files through direct connect. You can still send files out just not through DC. Thats about it. Hope this helped or gave you an idea about trillian pro.
Whenever i'm on linux gaim is my number 1 choice. Is Gaim available for windows? Its free and connects to everything i need.

When im on Linux i use Amsn.. its basicaly Msn Messenger 6.1 but for linux has all the same features as the windows messenger. since i mainly use msn
when on windows i use msn messenger 6.1

Pretty much TP at the moment, considering I have accounts on both MSN and ICQ. Better running TP than two clients. Does have some problems with file transfer though.

i got the new gtk libraries for windows and now gaim doesnt crash like mad. I also got the newest version of the windows port, but I dont know if that makes a difference.
No, the linux version is really unstable. 
I think its mainly in MSN support, so its still Microsofts fault.
want a good linux msn client.. use amsn i tell you.. its uptodate with the features and protocol
very stable too

yes you can. I've done it. Right click in the chat window and choose direct connect.
ICQ and Windows Messenger since it's already there.
Trillian Pro in Windows and Gaim in Linux. I can't complain about none of them. Both are great and sufficient for my needs. Oh, and I'm using this completely forgotten iChat-Hich skin for trillian

Now on my mac i use iChat and Adium... WHERE IS MY VIDEO and VOICE chat?!?! i miss them.. i only have msn contacts!! :cry:
:shy: sorry about that seph, that was the first thing i thought of when i posted the poll. i was like, "crap, seph is going to wonder where the mac apps are". which do you use more, ichat or adium? just curious
i use adium more, as i said i have more MSN contacts, plus the proxy in my ISP keeps on kkicking me out of iChat for some reason i do not comprehend! :rant:
