And as a sugestion, i would recommend you watch and choose carefully what to use from that guide that dreamz pointed you to as a lot of the programs used to emulate Mac OSX are ram eaters, if you have plenty of ram it should be ok... Mind you, your startup time could easily double depending on what you are running.

My advice would be to try things out for yourself rather than just listening to others.

There's actually a lot you can do with 2k but the one thing you can't do is have 32-bit .ico files.

BTW, whenever you add something you always reduce something else even if it's by 1 or less percent. The question is how much you lose, which can't be easily answered because of all the different hardware\software configurations out there. So there is always somoene who has a problem with something.

Another thing to think about is a program with more features than another program could take more so if you don't use those features you could do with the one that has less features. But again it also depends on the mods\skins\settings\software\hardware. So it goes back to what I said in the first line.
