What's your ISP?
i'm a dial up!!
You still have an ISP tho - ISP = Internet Service Provider. Who supplies your dialup service?
yeah man ISP's always give you a POP3 account normally with internet signup. basically, thats the whole reason mail programs even exist. when they give you the whole "mail.yourisp.com" deal thats for POP3 e-mail checking though a program like say Outlook or Thunderbird. I would say the best is to own your own .com like me and have an e-mail system though it, but that might be a bit complicated when all you want it mail.

maybe he is using his parents account, therefore he doesnt have access to adding his own.
actually....it's not how things go in here(egypt)....
i just choose a number to dial and log in the net with out any isp's or accounts and then i pay with my phone bill!!!
that's it!!!
Ok, what website do you go to, to access your webmail?
Ok, whatever you do, if youre connecting to the internet, it is trough an ISP, if you dont know what that is, its different.. but each of those numbers is a company, that is the ISP.
Now, your question, you could do 1.- call one of those companies and ask about an email address (im sure that theyll provide one for a montly fee, this should be fairly cheap)
2.-If you use hotmail you could use outlook express to receive your hotmail into your computer just as if it was a POP3 without the hassle of changing your addy.
3.-If youre using Yahoo mail, there is a program called YahooPOPS! that allows you to do the same as #2.
4. get an email address that provides POP as well (i know GMX provides it but its a german email, the space given is very generous too!)
5. Get a redirection, which is an email address that you set up to collect your mail from say, yahoo, and then forward it to a POP3 Sever (sorry i dunno any at the moment)
Hope this helps
this helps alot ....thank you all
