Powerbook G4 Pricing

I'm really interested in getting a PowerBook G4 for college (I'm majoring in Multimedia & Web Design over at the Shaumberg, Illinois Institute of Art), but I've found that they are extremely pricey. Basically what I want is a 12" - 1 ghz with 256 ram and at least a 30 gig HD, preferably with 10.3 installed on it.. I can't find any other Mac dealers other than the Mac Store and CompUSA. Does anybody know of any online Mac dealers with really good prices?

The problem is that Apple has a tight rope on the prices of their computers. So the probabilty of finding any cheaper is literally zero.

I've seen amazon.com have powerbooks 17" go for as low as 1600, they are sold by independent people so you have to be careful what you go for, keep in mind things like escrow (so you don't get e-screwed), apple warranty, etc.

You'll save about 100 or 200 bucks

Or you can always source it out on eBay as well... You might get really good deals when people are getting rid of their PBooks for whatever reasons. Just be extra careful during the transactions and all should be fine.
