Rackshack Has Blocked My Site Among Others!

Hello Boardies!

I know this might not fully feel like a web development thread but i thought it fits best in this category (better than general discussion as it involves websites). Mods, feel free to move this to the forum you think suits it best and i apologize if i chose the wrong forum to post this in.

Now, to the point, i live in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and since a couple of days back my site has been giving me timeout errors (also xicons.com, macthemes.com, aquaxp.com among other, even rackshack.net!!). I contacted my ISP pissed off like a caged monkey and they told me that rackshack had blocked 450+ domains for reasons "beyond their knowledge".

This only seems to be happening over here in the Emirates as you guys can still see the images i post (at least people have said so), i also had a voice conference with the support of my host (arteryplanet.net) with members of their support staff in Europe and the USA checking side by side without any errors.

I have already mailed rackshack.net (since i couldn’t get a hold of any email addy cause the site isn’t working :rant: i sent it to support@rackshack.net, which by default should go somewhere in their domain... right?)

Have you heard anything about this company?, have you been experiencing problems of this sort?, what reasons could they have to block sites like that?, do you think sending an email would get them to unblock my domain? what other options/paths could i take?

Sorry for making you read this horribly long post but you must understand...

I went to their page (www.rackshack.net) and it greeted me with a "we changed our name" thing... try http://www.ev1servers.net/english/index.asp ?

I know its a pain but thers prob nothing you can do, they blocked them for a reason so :/

It maybe a bit of a hassle but tried using a proxy if you must get to those sites?

Ok, update, i got an apology mail from their support.

Want to guess why they blocked the Emirates from accessing 450+ sites?

My site is working now and they told me to mail them any other sites i could not access...

Powerful little email.. thats all it took
