[discussion] What's Your Soundtrack

Alright. I thought of having "What is your Theme Song" question, but then I found out that I cannot summerise your life into one song. So I thought of a soundtrack. It doesn't nessicarily need to go in order, but all the songs need to mean something about your life. Take your time on this, I want honest answers. The songs can have literal meaning, or use the underlying meaning in the song.

I don't have mine already, I am going to listen to my entire music collection to get the best ones. But seriously, this is a different kind of way that we can learn about eachother more.

I'm going off to bed and I'll reply the first thing in the morning with my soundtrack.

At the moment, it's "Volcanoes" by Damien Rice, but others in the past have included "To Forgive" and "In the Arms of Sleep", both by the Smashing Pumpkins, and "Amsterdam" by Coldplay.

6. Natalie Merchant's version is more soothing, but Neil's original rings truer for me.

for the strange path of life and the ebb and flow of feelings.

Song may not seem to fit, but it does for me, partly cause i associate it with their song Mr. Knowitall, and for its own pure primussy goodness.

1. "The Real Folk Blues", by Yoko Kanno. From Cowboy Bebop Original Soundtrack. I can't explain why.... there's a weird and unexplained chemistry between that song and myself. It's just... wow.

2. "Love Foolosophy (Bini & Martini Remix)", by Jamiroquai. If I listen to this, expect me to dance. It just makes me SO hyper.

3. "Bootie Call (Club Asylum Dub)", by All Saints. Probably, one of the best remixes I've ever heard. It's just great.

4. "Freak Me (Club Asylum Mix)", by Another Level. Along with Bootie Call, one of the best remixes there is, PERIOD.

5. "Fly In The Freedom", by Tabitha Fair & Todd Cooper. Featured as Rouge's theme in Sega's Sonic Adventure 2. Just... I love it. I can't help it. It's simply that great.

There are plenty of other songs, but I think that will cover it for a while. ^^
