Just wondering how you change the dock's background? Is it possible without 3rd party software which I'll have to pay for?

yz's you just right click and go to settings after you put your new back ground in the right folder. I think its the same for about everything else...

I'm a Mac OS X user, and I have looked through the Dock Preferences... but I couldn't see any options regarding the background of the Dock. Sorry.

Unsanity has a ton of stuff to customize OS X.
Some of it's free and some not, but all are quality.

EDIT: what i would really like to kno if it is possible to have 2 differnt docks!! i always had 2 on my pc and kinda get used to having system icosn and such on the right and apps on teh bottom... ![]()
I noticed that most of those "Haxies" claim to support Mac OS X 10.2 Jaguar. What about us Mac OS X 10.3.2 Panther users?
