Address Book For Windows Not Running!why? Help

I downloaded this nice Adressbook in OS X Style!! But it is not running under my XP!!

i`ve been using AB since it`s early alpha (i tested it) and it has always worked flawlessly!

I cannot get this program to work either, I forgot to uninstall the older version first and when I ran the install on the newer release it will not open the app up. Any suggestions on how to get this installed? I have tried cleaning the registry of all the keys and reinstalling to no avail.

Thanks for the help, that did the trick, I reinstalled it and the deleted the manifest.exe file and that did the trick, thanks alot.

The manifest file allows you to have the MSStyles applied to a VB program. Just 4 lines in the program and this file and you get the skins, otherwise, the program would look like on Win 9X/ME/2000. You can also have it included into the EXE and it will rid of the need for the Manifest file, but you need to take extra steps and its sortof tricky. I think it maybe that he included it as a resource file and then supplied this Manifest and there was a fight over which one to use (the one compiled into the EXE or the supplied one), so it just gives up.
