Geez, I've looked everywhere for some sort of help but to no avail. Anyone wanna help a guy out. I mean why should I use 3 different programs if samurize can do what all the other 3 are doing and be less of a resource hog in the process.
Desktop Icons
im sorry, whats your question?
How do I increase my desktop icon size with Samurize
ohh, im not sure, cause I dont use samurize, but to my knowledge, it has to do with the size of the png file you use to create your config. If that doesnt make any sense, maybe one of the samurize gurus in here can better answer your question.
what 3 programs are you talking about? maybe i'm not understanding what you're asking but to change the size of the desktop icons require no extra programs. just go into your display properties under the tab appearance, click the button 'advanced'. unless you're talking about something else?
Nevermind, I figured it out, now I can stop using IconX,, was pretty easy after I figured everything out.
Would you be so kind to share your knowledge? ![]()
it`s easy, i`ll be glad to help
Open the editor.
first you need to have a PNG in a size u want it. Choose edit graphics>add draw object>32 bit png. now choose a png you want to use for an icon.
when u`ve done that you need to make an actuall shortcut.
right click in the editor space and choose add text. in options delete the text from the box (it says "The text of your choice..."). also you have to enable: "allow meter linkage" option and in the field "link meter to" you need to write a path to the file/folder you want that shortcut to lead. Now resize the selection to cover ur PNG and you have your shortcut! ![]()
Thanks for the help on that.
Do ya know how to set up samurize so it is set to back, so when ya open a window, the new window pops up over the samurized object. Also what scripts are used to show amount of free room on a drive, and number of files in a folder. Ohh also is there a way to have it link with a dubble click, so when i move then it dont active the link?
thanks for any help
