1. Are you installing with Admin rights?

2. Are there any sounds (such as the exclamation sound)?

3. Have you searched the knowledge base at apple.com?

Grrrr...that can't be right...uninstall itunes (completely!)...check the iTunes folder and get rid of everything...or delete the folder. Reboot, and installl...that should do it...if you have playlists and library files...move them someplace else and drag em back in.

I've had so many probs with this app..but it really is the best.

Quicktime? Essential for iTunes to run. Have you got that covered as well? ;)

#104051

iTunes installs QuickTime with it I thought?

There should really be no excuse for iTunes not to run. You said that you installed the latest version over iTunes. Which versions were those (the one that worked and the one you installed over with). And which one did you reinstall?

It does. I'm just trying to narrow down the possibilities. ;)

A complete uninstall...including deleting the folder, or anything leftover...reboot, and then install again...what could possibly go wrong?!! Don't forget to backup your playlist...visuals and whatever first!!

(Get the latest version)!

But he said that he was running an earlier version of iTunes and then installed a newer version. And I have heard of incompatabilities with newer versions. I am still using the initial release (20mb x 3 on 56k =/= good) .
