[help]some Help On Creating A Logo

The thing is that a friend of mine wanted some help on a logo for his company. It's called "Telepoint" and sells cell/mobile phones. I thought that I was skillful enough to help him out, but the logo didnt turn out to be as good as I hoped. If anyone could help me out here I'd really appreciate it.

this is what I've created.

The logo should say "TelePoint" and have a mobilephone somewhere in it or the word "telefonipood" which means phone store. My friend liked the colors.. capital letters T & P in the logo, but everything else was bad I myself have some experience in using Macromedia Flash and that's pretty much it.. if anyone would like to help that'd be really nice Thank you

Honestly I don't want to sound like an ass, but your friend, or the company your friend works for should contract a design firm to do the logo for them. Most of the people you will find who can do a good job on a logo do this type of thing for a living and tend to get offended when asked to work for free. A lot of individuals here do graphics work (logo, wallpapers, icons, skins etc) for the community as a labor of love.

By going to a design firm your friend will pay more, but get the value for the logo that he wants. The firm will most likely do several proofs and you friend will be able to choose what suits his needs best.

Quite frankly I am tired of seeing can someone make a logo for x company, or x website would like a design and we will give you a $20 prize. People when it comes to design work you really do get what you pay for, at least when you hire a professional.

You wouldnt want to sound like an ass? Are you sure? ANyhow I didnt bother to read your message.. the first lines were enough. I managed to create something that might suit he's needs and that's the end of this matter.

Before making this post I had certain doubts that would it really matter.. I mean.. when asking for help you can be sure that there is someone who can find a thing or two that would stop him or others from helping you. So tnxc for the help & someone close this topic.
