i understood from jeff, that it will be possible for him in the future (hopefully) to use objectbar technology so we can have skinnable pop up menus and it will be able to support wfx2.
Nice enough, but I'll stick with SHORTPOPUP.
1. I can have any folder I want as a popup menu
2. I like the ability to make the popup menu transparent
3. The anoying bug in Dock Pop-Up that keeps the menu displayed (yes I know they have a workaround).
4. It's Monday morning here in California (I hate Mondays)
With all of this said... These are both great ideas and it's amazing that a unreleased beta product would have add-on's already. Very cool.

Well, I'm glad other 3rd parties are looking at customization of Objectdock, but navigation through the Start Menu and My Documents is exactly what people don't want in most cases. That is a very WindowsOS centric way of navigating and very inneficient in terms of easy and quick access.
Shortpop up is the best solution so far, and other 3rd parties should be looking at such model with more customization. Pop-up menus for folders should be as easy as the implementation of Toolbar folders.
