Aqua-Soft ForumsOK, seeing as my BrushednSimple wallpaper collection went down quite well, I just thought i'd create a simple tutorial on how to create simple brushed walls that match your current theme. Please forgive me if its too basic 
What you'll need:
1) Photoshop
2) 5 minutes
Tutorial:
1) OK, starting off in Photoshop, create a new document, making sure you set the size to how big your screen resolution is e.g. 1280 x 1024 or 1024 x 768.
2) Select a colour as your base colour. If you're looking for something to match your current theme, minimise Photoshop, and press the printscreen button on your keyboard (can be found on top of the numeric keypad), then restore your photoshop window and press Ctrl+V to paste the image into your current image.
Now select the eyedropper tool by pressing 'i'. Move over the pasted image of your desktop and click/select the right colour that you want as your base, making sure its not too light.
3) Once you've selected the colour, press Ctrl+A to select everything and then press delete (not backspace, DELETE). This should clear your image.
4) Press 'g' to select the paint bucket tool and paint your colour onto the image.
5) Now you'll need to add noise to the background, In the 'Filter' Menu, select Noise > Add Noise.
Add around 10% to start with. You can choose whether you want it to be monochrome or not.
6) Next, from the 'Filter' menu, select Blur > Motion Blur. Set the angle to 0/90 and the distance to around 20-30 pixels.
7) Add more noise and repeat the motion blur a few times until you get the effect you're looking for and that's it.
If you want, you can add lighting effects to create more of a mood to your wall, but other than that you're done.
