[help]firebird Problem

Everything is in italics in Firebird (in sites...like A-S,), I'm even typing this in italics. I've allready checked the font settings and there's nothing about italicizing font

maybe your normal font (of whatever kind) was deleted so you're using the italics version by default?

maybe a virus or spyware?

did you make any changes?

I've tried reinstalling and I've removed all th espyware that Adaware found, but...

I had that problem and for some reason (I think this site uses Arial), the normal was deleted and so it went to the Italics. Go to the C:/Windows/Fonts and check for Arial and Verdana (I can't remember which one this site uses), not Italics or Bold, just Verdana, Arial.

It's Bold that was missing, but I am sure it the same problem for you.

There's verdana (regular?), verdanab (bold?), verdanai (italic?), and verdanaz (??) in my fonts folder

Arial: arial, arialbd, arialb, ariali, and arialn

Since it also happens in IE, it is not Firebirds fault.

In the registry (Run -> regedit) go to this string:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts

and make sure Verdana (TrueType) data = verdana.ttf
